where I read your manuscript and present you with an analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of the style, characterization, and plot.
Story Conferencing
where I read your manuscript, and we meet to discuss possibilities for the style, characterization, and plot. Where this service differs from a reader's report is that during a story conference, you and I will actively brainstorm possibilities.
Structural editing
where I help you strengthen the development of characterization, plot, themes, and /or arguments.
Stylistic editing
where I re-cast any awkward or unclear sentences, to bring clarity and flow to your story or argument.
Copyediting
where I check for correct punctuation, spelling, grammar, and usage.
Proofreading
where I check the live copy for typographical errors before the manuscript goes to print.
